Terms & Conditions of Participation
1. Registration & Participation
By registering for the 2026 Future of Construction Symposium, you confirm that the information youprovide is accurate and complete. Registration is personal and may not be transferred without priorapproval from the organizers.
2. Fees, Payment & Receipts
Registration is complete once payment has been received.
3. Cancellation & Changes
The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the program, speakers, workshops, site visits, orsocial events as necessary. In case of cancellation of the event, participants will be informed as soon aspossible. Cancellations of personal registrations must be notified in writing to the Symposium Organising Committee (e-mail is sufficient, contact details in section 9).• Cancellations made by end of day 20 April 2026 will result in a full refund less CHF 100- to coveradministration costs.• After 20 April 2026 cancellation is a 100% cost forfeiture.
There will be no cancellation allowance for failure to secure a visa to Switzerland or denial of entry at theborder. All participants are responsible to ensure they are eligible and able to travel. It is recommendedthat travel insurance be secured. The Organising Committee reserves final decision on a case-by-casebasis for granting a cancellation due to any extenuating circumstances after April 20th, 2026.
As an alternative to cancellation, a personal registration may be transferred to another person by April 20, 2026 without incurring any cost penalty, after 20 April 2026 the administrative cost of transfer is 100CHF (paid at symposium registration). No transfers will be allowed or approved after May 1,2026.
The Symposium Organising Committee must receive a request in writing of any cancellations, alterationsor transfers, the Organising Committee will then confirm the request in writing if approved.
4. Workshops, Site Visits & Capacity Limits
Participation in workshops, Technical Tours, and all Social Events is subject to availability and capacitylimits. Once capacity is reached, registration for that activity will be closed. The organizers reserve theright to reassign or cancel sessions if required for organizational reasons.
5. Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to behave respectfully and professionally in accordance with the ETH Zurichcode of conduct. The organizers reserve the right to remove participants who violate this code of conductwith no entitlement to a refund.
6. Liability
Participation in the symposium and related activities is at the participant’s own risk. The organizers are notliable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property except where liability is required by law.
7. Photography & Recordings
Photos, video, and audio recordings may be made during the event. These materials may be used inaccordance with the consent provided during registration.
8. Acceptance
By completing registration and payment, you confirm to have read and agree with these Terms and Conditions.
