Architecture and Demo Bus Tour

This regional bus tour will bring participants to visit with several ETH Zurich spin-off companies for presentations and demonstrations, and will include stops at a number of local (less-well-known) architecture sights, and a visit to the impressive Hardwald Turm (Hard forest timber tower).

This tour has been designed to be shorter, explicitly to accommodate those with an evening departure.

This tour will visit three emerging construction technology startups, in the wider Zurich region. At each location participants will view presentations and demos of the technologies and meet the development and entrepreneurial teams. After a group lunch, the tour will then proceed to the Hard forest north of the city, for a walk to the travel to the Hardwald Turm, a 40-meter observation tower, made from timbers cultivated from that forest. 

This impressive local project was designed, engineered, fabricated and
assembled by the companies directly connected to this forest and the immediate community. The tour is a half-day excursion, including lunch, and participants will remain in the greater Zurich area.
